Recently,XiamenUniversityandMacquarieUniversityinAustraliasigned an agreement on PhD co-education program. Under the agreement, linking to CSC grant projects, from 2016 onwards, the Graduate School of XMU can recommend outstanding undergraduate and graduate students toMacquarieUniversityfor PhD degrees.MacquarieUniversitywill enroll up to 10 students, who are fitting the standards.MacquarieUniversitywill offer scholarship to cover students' tuition. Candidates can apply for CSC grants to cover living expenses.

   MacquarieUniversity, founded in 1964, ranks among the top 8 of Australian universities. It'sAustralia's first university to set up actuarial programs.MacquarieUniversityis a prestigious university not only for its business school represented by finance, actuary, accounting, but also for its outstanding academic achievements in humanities. Its phonetics ranks 31st in the world, psychology, 45th.
