Dear students,

In  order to prevent and control the new coronavirus infection and protect the  health and life safety of XMU teachers and students, according to the unified  arrangements of the PRC’s Ministry of Education and Municipal Government of  Fujian, the university has decided to postpone the start date of the second  semester (spring semester) of 2019/2020AY. The specific resumption date and  follow-up arrangements will be notified in further notice.

All  exams, tests, experiments, dissertation review and defenses originally planned  will be postponed accordingly. All  students are required NOT TO RETURN to the university in  advance.

Please fully cooperate with the local  as required to prevent and control the pandemic. Maintain personal hygiene, make sure rooms and indoor spaces have good air flow, avoid going outdoors,  gathering, holding or taking part in group activities. Don't go to crowded  places to reduce the risk of infection.
