Dual catalysis for enantioselective convergent synthesis of enantiopure vicinal amino alcohols”, a paper that presents the groundbreaking research conducted by Professors Peiqiang Huang’s and Xin Lu’s research groups in the XMU College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, was published on January 29, 2018 in “Nature Communications” (2018, 9:410).

The research was completed by master’s degree candidate Xi Ye in collaboration with fellow students Henghui Li and Jiangtao Cheng under the supervision of Associate Professor Xiao Zheng, a member of Professor Peiqiang Huang’s research group. The theoretical computations for the research were completed by Yared Yohannes Melcamu, a PhD candidate in Professor Xin Li’s research group. The enantiomeric purity test was completed by master’s degree candidate Tiantian Zhang under the supervision of Professor Yuanping Ruan, while the monocrystalline structure test was completed with the assistance of PhD candidate Zi’ang Nan in Professor Quanming Wang’s research group.
