PhD Candidate in School of Public Health Publishes Research Paper in “Science Advances” as First Author

“Discovery and structural characterization of a therapeutic antibody against coxsackievirus A10”, a research paper by Prof. Ningshao Xia’s research group in the XMU School of Public Health, was published on September 20 in “Science Advances”.


The paper’s corresponding authors include XMU Prof. Ningshao Xia and Asso. Prof. Tong Cheng; Prof. Z. Hong Zhou from the Nano Systems Institute, the University of California, Los Angeles; and PhD Xiaodong Yan from the University of California, San Diego.


The paper’s co-first authors include XMU PhD candidate Rui Zhu, postdoctoral fellow Longfa Xu, Engineer Qingbing Zheng and Prof. Shaowei Li, as well as postdoctoral fellow Yanxiang Cui from the University of California, Los Angeles.


The research received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Program for the Development of Innovation of New Medicines, the National Program for Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases, and the U.S. National Institutes of Health Foundation.
