Prof. Rongrong Ji’s Research Group Publishes Latest Research Achievements in PAMI
“Holistic CNN Compression via Low-rank Decomposition with Knowledge Transfer”, a paper presenting the latest research achievements of Prof. Rongrong Ji’s research group in the XMU School of Information Science and Engineering, was recently published in “IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence” (PAMI). PAMI is the most prestigious international journal in the compute science field, with an impact factor of 9.45.
The research was jointly completed by XMU PhD candidate Shaohui Lin and his supervisor Prof. Rongrong Ji (the corresponding author) and master’s degree candidate Chao Chen, as well as Prof. Dacheng Tao from the University of Sydney and Prof. Jiebo Luo from the University of Rochester. This marked the second time that XMU graduate students had published research in the top journal in the computer science field, testifying the high quality of graduate training in the information discipline at XMU.
