“Designable ultra-smooth ultra-thin solid-electrolyteinterphases of three alkali metal anodes”, the result of groundbreaking research jointly conducted by Prof. Bingwei Mao’s and Prof. Quanfeng Dong’s research groups in the XMU College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, was recently published online in “Nature Communications” (2018, 9, 1339).

The research was completed by three PhD candidates – Yu Gu (2014), Weiwei Wang (2016) and Yijuan Li (2013) – under the supervision of the two professors.
